man...I know i write this so you don't have to watch the crappy sketches...but do yourself a favor and watch it this week....

With Will Ferrell at the helm, literally the best SNL i've seen in years...

the entire Hulu Collection is here but it's missing what i thought was the best sketch of the whole night in which Will Ferrell does a cover of "Goodnight Saigon" with an incredible cast of guest stars including Tom Hanks (who also played himself in Celebrity Jeopardy), Anne Hathaway, Amy Poehler (who also returned to do weekend update), Artie Lange, Norm McDonald, Maya Rudolph and a whole bunch more.....

i'll keep an eye out for that clip because it was completely brilliant...

if the Tracy Morgan episode demonstrated what was bad about 90s era SNL, Will Ferrell showed why he's a massive name in comedy these days....

highlights included....

the return of celebrity jeopardy

the opening with Cheney & Bush

do yourself a favor & try to catch the rest of this one...very good episode overall.

After a long break & 2 previous incredibly lame installments of SNL....Justin Timberlake came back to host with an episode that was actually pretty good.... loaded with cameos this week including Susan Sarandon, Patricia Clarkson, Jimmy Fallon, Leonard Nemoy & the two dudes from Star Trek

granted the Obama administration is making it pretty hard to be funny on the presidential front & the opening with Timothy Geitner was no exception & had me worried however Timberlake recovered the show with a great monologue....

The highlights of the night were the duel sketches of the immigrant's coming to the new world....

And of course the one that i'm sure is arleady viral right now "Mother-Lover" which you have to think they've been working on since Timberlake was scheduled for the show....
